Our founder, Debra Tisler, M.S.Ed. is a passionate educator with 30 years of experience in the field of education. With a vast background as a general and special education teacher, Debra brings a wealth of expertise to Emergent Literacy. She specializes in effective teaching strategies and interventions designed to support diverse learning needs. As a dedicated advocate for literacy and parental rights, Debra is committed to creating an environment where every student can excel and learn to read. Debra believes that reading is a fundamental right and essential for pursuing happiness and success.
